Dr. Jayanti Prasad Nawani

Dr. Jayanti Prasad Nawani is a well-known orthopaedic specialist, who established Doon Nursing Home, the first private multi specialty hospital in Dehradun, in 1991. After completing his primary and secondary education, he pursued his M.B.B.S. from M.L.B Medical College Jhansi, followed by M.S. Ortho Surgery from Delhi University in 1978. He then went on to work as a junior Resident in Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital New Delhi and Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi.

Extending his services outside the country, Dr. Nawani, worked for the Government of Iran as an orthopaedic specialist for three years and with the Ministry of Health, in the Sultanate of Oman, as an orthopaedic specialist for 13 Years.

He is also engaged in several social and philanthropic activities through the rotary club nationally and internationally . He believes that good education is the essence of all growth.
